1) The soccer season went out the way it started...with a loss! All in all, I think the children had a good time and they all were certainly proud of their medals they received at the last game.
2) The Compton's were kind enough to invite us to their annual kids Halloween party and Emily had a great time jumping on the trampoline, playing with all of the children and eating the yummy food!
3) She made me laugh when she asked about a show on our DVR and if it would decord (the opposite of record or erase) if we didn't watch it soon!
4) The weather on Sunday was fabulous and we enjoyed a trip to our neighborhood playground and then Antoine came over to play!
Lo and behold, the Grandma did it again. She literally rolled by our driveway with the window down and said she was running to the Dollar Tree! WTH?! People never cease to amaze me but once again, Emily was thrilled to have a friend to play with so I just decided to roll with it.
5) We had nice dinner at Fuji, a Japanese steakhouse on Friday evening. Bubba and Zaide were in town and offered to take us all out eat and Emily selected the restaurant! She had been there twice on field trips during summer “camp” and was super excited that we were finally going there to eat. Our hibachi chef was a little on the low key side but the food was good and they gave us enough of it for three meals (literally, Rob ate it all weekend long).
