We had an absolutely wonderful Christmas this year and Santa was so incredibly generous to all of us! Unfortunately, Emily wasn't feeling 100% on Christmas day but she still had an absolute blast. She received a letter from Santa thanking her for being such a good girl and for the delicious peanut butter cookies and Hershey Special Dark miniature candies. I always remember being a little girl and getting a letter from Santa on Christmas morning so it was special that Emily did too! Emily was so excited about receiving her drum set and lots and lots of awesome new toys. I, too, was extremely excited to receive a new toy...an iPad2. Thank you Mom and Howard...y'all are the BEST! We were sad that Granddad couldn't make the trip to be with us this year and that our only local family were visiting family in Pennsylvania but we had a great day and enjoyed our yummy brunch and one another's company! Rob even seemed to be in good spirits and anyone who knows Rob knows that Christmas is not really is thing...I guess the infectious energy of a very excited five year old can put anyone in the Christmas spirit!
