1) She set her parents up on a date. She asked Rob if he thought I was pretty and if he liked me. He said yes to both and then she said "Why don't you go out on a date on Friday?" Truth be told, she had an ulterior motive...she wanted to go to Parents' Night Out. Such a clever girl!
2) On Saturday, Emily took money from her bank and purchased presents for everyone in her family from the $1 section at Target and the Dollar Tree - 11 presents total! She did such a nice job picking out presents and she was so excited to take everything home and wrap them up. I'm really proud of her and glad that she understands that it can be just as nice to give as it is to receive.
3) She was so excited to go school on Monday and show off her new Alvin stuffed animal from BABW. She packed it up in her bag and must have told me 100 times on Sunday how she couldn't wait to go to school and show her "new friend" to all of her friends.
4) She is anxiously awaiting our trip to the North Pole and marks the days off on her calendar to next Friday when we are headed to the Polar Express.
5) I'm really proud of her good behavior at school for the past month. If only Santa could come every month, we'd have a super star on our hands!
