5 on Friday!

Here are the top 5 reasons why I am loving Emily this week!

1)  On Tuesday, she came home, grabbed a bottle of water, some hand weights and her iPad and set off to her room to "work out".  She stayed occupied for about 30 minutes doing her version of push ups, sit ups and jumping jacks!

2)  She lives for the dollar section at Target!  A trip  not complete without some type of little goodie from those bins!

3)  She is still hanging on to that loose upper tooth.  She has started eating all of her food with her side teeth but insists that is the way she likes to chew!

4)  This one is really from last week but I had to include it.  She was reading a book "David Goes to School".  On one of the pages it said "Quit Talking" but she read it as "Quit B*tching!"  I immediately said "What did you say?" and she replied "I don't know that word and pointed to talking!"  My reply was "No, you don't know the word printed or the word you just said!"  There is nothing worse than a child using bad language but it was pretty funny :)

5)  She took candy for several of her little friends on Wednesday because she said they "needed a treat" which was very sweet of her.  One of her new girl friends, Jumana, invited her to eat lunch on stage with Jumana's parents on Wednesday too!  Emily loves sitting on the stage and the neat thing about Jumana's daddy is that he is an NFL player with the Buffalo Bills!  She asked him if he knew Troy Polamalu; unfortunately, he does not but it's not every day you get to eat lunch with a professional athlete.  Exciting stuff!
