1) On Saturday, we went to Maggie Compton's 2nd birthday party which was lots of fun but Emily decided that she may have been a little too big for the party because she was a "graduate" and two-year olds are still in preschool! The whole graduation thing seriously went to her head!
2) She has the need for speed! She is loving her four-wheeler. Grandma may have created a monster. Every evening, she takes it out for a few spins around the yard, weaving around the cones, testing out the pointers that Daddy has given to her - standing up to slow it down (super scary to this Mom) and leaning when it gets too bumpy. She is a natural. Watch out Danica Patrick!
3) She did a fantastic job helping Rob and I clean up this past Sunday. We organized all of her BABW clothes and accessories into different bins, put all of her action figures, happy meal toys and other assorted small items into clear plastic boxes, cleaned out the art supplies cabinet and table, and even sorted through some toys to donate to charity or hold onto until our next yard sale. A job well done, Emily!
4) Water gun fun!! Emily, Rob and I had a water battle on Tuesday and it was a great time! It's always fun to see her running around with a big smile on her face. She kept spraying us in the shorts (Rob) and skirt (me) and saying "Who peed their pants?" Silly head. Then she took the hose and said it was the ultimate water gun and sprayed me with that. I think she may have gotten the idea from Rob...good times!
5) She finally had her first treat from the ice cream truck...oh the joys of summer!
