On Saturday, we celebrated Emily’s 5th birthday at My Gym, otherwise known as Your Gym or My Mommy’s Gym by Emily!

It was funny when we got there and met the instructor for her party. We recognized her immediately from Emily’s party at The Little Gym last year! My Gym is a little different than The Little Gym because they have bouncy houses on one side and gym mats on the other. As soon as we got there, Emily and her little friends were able to play on the jumpy side for about 25 minutes and then they went to the gym side and played some games and had a puppet show. There were a couple of swings on the jumpy side and the kids seemed to like those the best. Had I known that would be the big draw, we could have just had her party at our neighborhood playground…just joking! Emily kept trying to hide from me and I had the hardest time finding her until some of her friends gave me some help which made Emily a little unhappy. Finally on her third attempt, she was successful in hiding and no one called her out! She is a lucky little girl because she had many of her friends there to celebrate and she received some awesome presents! I think her favorite things had to be the Star Wars legos and the Steelers snuggie.
I think all of the kids had a great time and My Gym is definitely kid tested and Mom approved!
