1) The building continues! She received this Erector kit as a Christmas present from Granddad and she is absolutely loving it!
2) She and I are both really excited about our new shelves and how nicely everything is organized!
3) We were all dreading school starting back on Monday after the nice holiday break but Emily was excited about getting some new clothes on Sunday and getting to wear them this week! In addition, we have had some insanely low temperatures this week and had to pull out the really warm coats, hats, gloves and scarfs. Here she is modeling some of her accessories.
4) She is still on the quest to find Zoomer, the robot dog, but is not having much luck! It is amazing to me that the company that manufactures Zoomer has a message posted on its website that they are completely sold out...no wonder she is striking out at every store we go to!
5) As an incentive to have good behavior at school following the long break, Emily and I have implemented game night! Each day that she does well, we've been playing Headbanz and Yahtzee and our new shelving system has helped because so many of our board games are in view and not packed away in a closet.
Bonus - here's a cute picture of our family that she drew one evening this week! Now, she is obsessed with having me post things on "the book" and inquiring about how many likes she gets. This one got 18!
