1) While we were traveling to the game on Sunday, all of a sudden she said "Daddy, I just saw some houses with wheels on them!" This is funny because every morning when she and Rob leave, she always says "Bye house. Don't go anywhere" and Rob says "We should be safe because the house doesn't have wheels!" and she replies "Houses don't have wheels!" Well now, she knows differently. I think it is funny that considering we live in South Carolina, she had to go all the way to PA to see a house with wheels on it. Pretty sure we have some of those around here too!
2) Granddad has a Mean Joe Greene throwback jersey and when he referred to it as a "Throwback", Emily asked "So does that mean you throw it and it comes back to you?"
3) Not sure how many kids would create their own little pool table out of a box top, little Dixie cups and ping pong balls but I applaud her creativity. Here is a photo of Em and Rob playing pool.
4) You can take the girl out of Pittsburgh but you can't take the Pittsburgh out of the girl. Here she is showing off some of her football skills complete with her Steelers mohawk hat which is going to be great for Crazy Hat Day at school.
Her class won Crazy Sock Day and Crazy Hat Day because they exceeded their fundraising goals for the Fun Run. Overall her class was in first place for all of the kindergarten classes and 4th place for the entire school. They also collected donations from every state in the country so the entire school will have Pajama Day!
5) We have been enjoying her last week of being a 5 year old! On Wednesday, we cuddled for a while after she got out of the bath and we were talking about what things will be like when she is 6. Where is the time going?
