1) After listening to Rob strum his guitar for about an hour, Emily asked him "Daddy, are you going to play that thing or just play with it?" We have a little rock star in the making!!
2) We went to the Winthrop homecoming game on Saturday and Emily insisted we go to the bookstore before the game and buy her some new WU attire to wear. Here she is at the game in her new hat and t-shirt (which she wore on Saturday and again on Sunday and as a pajama shirt both nights).
3. On Sunday, we went to view the photos from our family session. Just as I expected, Emily looked adorable in all of the photos, making it quite a challenge to not spend 1,000s of dollars buying all of them! 4. Emily told me that she wishes the pilgrims had good things to eat at Thanksgiving like Cheetos! One day, she'll understand that turkey, dressing, mashed potatoes and gravy are GOOD things!
5. Emily had a field trip this week and Rob had to chaperone. She had a great time and was so happy that her Daddy was able to join her. Here is a photo that Rob sent to me while they were at the circus. And this is Rob's description of the event (sent in email immediately upon leaving) - "I got stuck with E on my lap and stinky heavy-d on my left and Mrs. Lilly on my right chanting and singing and stomping the whole time. Think she thought it was church or she was simply drunk. Good stuff."
