Here are the top five highlights from this week!
1) The Ride to End Alzheimer's was a success! We raised $300 from the ride and Emily raised $12.00 from her sticker sales! Everyone had a great time and Mom and I even got to be on the local news! It only took 14 years for me to actually put my Mass Comm-Broadcasting degree to work!
2) We had a nice visit with Erin and Tess Saturday afternoon and Sunday! It was extremely hot at Carowinds but at least we had the water park to cool us off! It's really nice to see our girls becoming friends and it's hard to believe but we were only just a couple of years older than they are now when Erin and I met each other. Where have the last 25 years gone?!
3) On Tuesday evening we met some new neighbors, a five year old girl named Chloe and her dad, Ben. Well Chloe was attempting to ride her bike without training wheels which prompted me to remind Emily that learning to do that was on my "To Do List" for her this summer and she immediately replied "Oh, I removed that item from the list!" What a little nut!
4) Summer is winding down...only two more weeks until school starts back...yikes!
5) If the weather cooperates, we're looking forward to getting a group of moms and kids tomorrow at our pool...should be fun!
