1) She and Grandma had their annual cookie day this past Saturday! As always, they enjoyed this tradition and I enjoyed eating the cookies!
2) Her Wii bowling practice is paying off! Check out her high score when she beat both Mommy and Daddy. The second is when she beat Daddy! The third photo shows what a Wii champion looks like and the fourth is a Wii loser! Daddy eventually got back into the swing of things and beat her (I was not allowed to take a photo of the score) and she was not too happy about it! Still working on how to lose graciously...not sure I can teach that life lesson though :)
3) We're going to have four teams this year for our gingerbread contest so Emily had to made a #4 sign which she had me send to Grandma and tell her that her poster was ready! She also said we could keep the #1 from last year at our house so we didn't have to carry it back and forth! Someone's a little cocky!
4) She loves doing "magic" tricks which usually consist of her doing something "magical" while our eyes are closed and then opening them to be amazed by her David Blaine-type powers!
5) Thursday was the last day of school before Winter Break and she was excited to wear her pjs to school! Her class was having a holiday brunch and thankfully, Daddy was able to attend because Mommy had her 4th quarter board meeting that day and couldn't make it. She is definitely looking forward to having the next 17 days off from school!
