Kicking off 2016!

Hard to believe it is already the 12th day of 2016...the days are flying by!  This past Friday, we finally went ice skating at the outdoor rink in Rock Hill.  It was so much fun.  Even though its been over 25 years since I last laced up a pair of skates and hit the ice, it was like no time had passed at all! Emily did great for her first time considering how crowded it was and how many skaters were wiping out all over the place!  She and I are definitely going to hit the indoor rink in Pineville soon and maybe we'll actually convince Rob to put on a pair of skates next time!

After skating, we ate supper at Millstone Pizza which is always a favorite!  Such a fun family night!

On Saturday, Em and I were so excited that the Steelers made it to the Playoffs and watch some of the game!  8:15 kickoffs are just too late!  She, of course, took the opportunity to showcase her Steelers' pride and we're looking forward to Sunday when they play the Broncos.  Here we go!

Over the Christmas holidays, Em bought several "Diary of a Wimpy Kid" books and we have enjoyed reading them each night!  I, especially, love reading time because she wears her glasses and looks so incredibly cute!
